Trash collection in Williamsburg is normally on Fridays with Recycling every other Friday. Holidays during the week can result in collection on Saturdays. Please refer to the calendar below to determine which weeks include recycling and when pickup will be delayed until Saturday.

- DO NOT PLACE YOUR CARTS WITHIN 15’ OF EITHER SIDE OF MAILBOX CLUSTERS OR FIRE HYDRANTS. THIS CAN PREVENT MAIL CARRIERS FROM MAKING DELIVERIES AND IMPEDE EMERGENCY SERVICES.
- AFTER COLLECTION IS DONE BRING YOUR CARTS BACK TO YOUR HOME THE SAME DAY. DO NOT LEAVE THEM ON THE STREET OVERNIGHT. CITY CODE REQUIRES YOU TO RETRIEVE CARTS WITHIN 12 HOURS AFTER COLLECTION.
- STORAGE OF YOUR CART SHOULD BE IN A LOCATION NOT VISIBLE TO YOUR NEIGHBORS OR THE PUBLIC.
